This
is a list of people of whom it has been claimed have been home educated.
I have tried to categorise them but there may be errors. I am gradually
finding biographical links to these names.
I
am gradually working through this list deleting names from it as
I find evidence that people did in fact attend school. For example
Einstein, C S Lewis, and George Bernard Shaw all went to school
despite claims on many websites to the contrary. Others however,
such as Chalres Dickens, had only a limited school education, less
than three years in his case. I take the view that such a few years
of school education could not account for their later success and
therefore include these people in my list though Winston Chirhill's
6 years at Eaton I feel disqualifies him from inclusion.
