Home Education remains extremely popular in the UK. Taken as a whole home education is growing at around 15% per annum, and appears to have been doing so since around 1980. While there are no firm official figures, it is now believed that there are around 100 thousand home educated children in the UK.

Deciding to home educate a child, sometimes at a time of stress can be difficult. This book aims to help make more sense of home education and should be a useful tool in opening the conversation with concerned family while offering pointers to where you might find further information that you need to make a final decision.
